POSITION TITLE: Administrative Assistant: K-12 Secretary

REPORTS TO: Principal

 

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:  Full time position with benefits

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

ESSENTAIL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Skills:

  1. Attention to detail/organization, ability to prioritize, and ability to analyze information.  Time management skills, multi-tasking are a must.
  2. Computer Skills: General Knowledge of Computers with the ability to learn and use various software programs utilized by district
  3. Display high degree of judgment, discretion and confidentiality.
  4. Effectively deal with persons in difficult and stressful situations.
  5. Maintain cooperative professional relationships with parents, peers, supervisors, managers, and the community in general, while projecting a professional image through in-person and telephone interaction.
  6. Excellent spelling, grammar, and editing skills
  7. Create efficiency for K-12 School practices.
  8. Operate in the Microsoft Windows environment inclusive of using Word, Excel, Outlook and Publisher.
  9. Collect data and create documents to support data findings.
  10. Manage multiple priorities and work accurately and independently in a fast-paced environment with limited supervision.
  11. Handle variation in workload and subject matter.
  12. Operate and succeed within a team.
  13. Ability to adapt to change.
  14. Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities related to all job duties.
